About the author

The Name: Tracey.

The Social Identities: White, cisgender, queerish, straight-passing (monogamously dating a cis dude), thin, femme, middle-class, woman. Basically able(d), definitely allistic, maybe neurotypical (depending on how big your personal neurodivergent umbrella is). I have an Autistic sister, which isn't a social identity but IS relevant to my blogging, frequently.

Hufflepuff. Maybe Ravenpuff? But asked to throw in my lot either with intellectuals or people who most value fairness and compassion, I wouldn't have to deliberate.

The diagnoses: major depression, general anxiety, body dysmorphia, attention deficit (impulsive type). Also some yucky GI stuff that I don't want to get into.

The Myers-Briggs: ENFP – Extroverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving. Just picture a cross between an overbearing hippie art teacher and a golden retriever. Most writers are INFP, so I am perfectly suited to inappropriately dominate the conversation in a writer’s group.

The Personal: is political.

Despite all these fascinating personal qualities, I am perhaps best known for being arrested by riot police outside my freshman dorm. And not gently.
